Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all classes, memberships, passes, workshops, events, trainings and services purchased from The Yoga Mela Ltd (“Yoga Mela”).
By purchasing or attending any class, course, workshop, event or membership, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. General
- The timetable, teachers, class formats and opening hours may be subject to change.
- All services purchased from The Yoga Mela Ltd must be preceded by the participant completing and signing the required Liability Waiver / Health Declaration via Momence.
- Attendance may be refused if the waiver has not been completed.
- Yoga Mela reserves the right to refuse entry to any class, event or service.
- Attendees must be 18 years of age or over, unless attending a specifically designated under-18s offering.
- All bookings must be made in advance and paid for at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated.
2. Health & Participation
- By attending classes at Yoga Mela, you confirm that you are fit and able to participate in physical activity.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any class, workshop or session booked is suitable for your individual circumstances, level, stage of life and physical condition.
- You must inform your teacher before class of any injury, pregnancy, postnatal stage, medical condition or physical concern that may affect your participation.
- Yoga Mela reserves the right to advise against or restrict participation where a class is deemed unsuitable or unsafe.
- Participation in all classes and use of studio equipment is undertaken at your own risk.
3. Class Bookings
- All classes must be booked in advance through the Yoga Mela booking system.
- Classes are subject to availability.
- Doors open 10 minutes before class and close 5 minutes after class begins.
- Entry may be refused after this time and the booking may be treated as a late cancellation / no show, depending on the product purchased.
4. Cancellations, Late Cancellations & No Shows
- Class bookings may be cancelled up to 6 hours before the class start time.
- If cancelled more than 6 hours in advance, the class will be returned to your account (where applicable).
- Late cancellations made within 6 hours of class start time will not be refunded or credited back.
- No shows will be treated as though the class was attended.
For class passes
- Late cancellations and no shows will result in the loss of that class.
For selected memberships
- Late cancellations and no shows may incur an automatic £3 charge, depending on the membership purchased and its individual terms.
Please refer to your specific pass or membership details for the exact policy that applies.
5. Class Passes
- All class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Class passes may only be used by the named account holder and cannot be shared.
- Class passes must be used within their stated validity period.
- Class passes are not eligible for pause or extension, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Unused classes do not carry over beyond the expiry date.
- Introductory offers may only be purchased once per person, where stated.
- Introductory offers are not eligible for extension, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
6. Memberships
- All memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Memberships may only be used by the named account holder and cannot be shared.
- Memberships renew automatically according to the payment schedule shown at the time of purchase, unless cancelled in accordance with the membership terms.
- Individual membership terms, including:
- class allowances
- usage limits
- cancellation notice
- minimum term
- pause eligibility
- no show / late cancellation charges
- and access restrictions
are outlined within each membership agreement at the point of purchase.
Important
- Not all memberships include the same benefits or flexibility.
- Some memberships may allow pause; others may not.
- Some memberships may include monthly class limits, daily booking limits or reset dates.
- Some memberships may include access to eligible classes only.
Please refer to the specific membership purchased for the exact terms that apply.
7. Class Eligibility & Restricted Classes
- Some classes may be restricted to specific groups or participants, including but not limited to:
- Men’s classes
- Pregnancy classes
- Postnatal classes
- Beginner-specific offerings
- Workshops
- Courses
- Special events
- Other specialist classes
- Access to these classes may be restricted based on:
- the intended audience
- safety
- suitability
- teacher guidance
- or the terms of the product purchased
- Yoga Mela reserves the right to determine whether a class is suitable for a participant and may refuse or remove a booking where appropriate.
8. Workshops, Events & Courses
- All workshop, event and course bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise stated.
- If you cancel a workshop, event or course booking, the booking will be lost and cannot be transferred to another date unless Yoga Mela explicitly agrees otherwise.
- If Yoga Mela needs to cancel or reschedule an event, workshop or course, you will be offered an appropriate alternative, credit or refund where applicable.
9. Teacher Trainings

- To reserve your place on the course, booking must be completed and paid in full.
- Once booked, the course fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise stated.
- All scheduled training days must be attended in order to receive the course certificate.
- If training days are missed due to exceptional circumstances, additional catch-up training may be offered at Yoga Mela’s discretion and charged separately.
- Attendees must meet any stated entry requirements before booking.
- Please arrive on time for all elements of the training timetable.
- Photos and videos may be taken during the course for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please notify Yoga Mela by email before the training begins.
- Bullying, harassment or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or attendees may result in removal from the course without refund or transfer.
10. Liability
- Participation in any class, workshop, event, training or use of studio equipment is undertaken at your own risk.
- Yoga Mela accepts no responsibility for:
- injury sustained during participation, except where caused by proven negligence
- loss, theft or damage of personal belongings brought to the studio
11. Changes to Services
Yoga Mela reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:
- pricing
- class schedules
- teachers
- services
- memberships
- passes
- booking systems
- policies and terms
Any significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
