Firstly, welcome to the beginning of your yoga journey.

Yoga is a transformational practise and the best way to learn more about it is by coming along to a class.  Our beginners classes are on Wednesdays at 6:15pm.  The session will introduce you to the different elements that make up a class, giving you a clear understanding of how to practice enjoyably and safely.

Yoga is non-competitive and the more that you practice, the more you realise that every single body is completely different.

If you have an existing yoga practice, it may be suitable for you to continue practicing yoga during your pregnancy but you should check with your doctor/midwife first.  Please let the teacher know and they can give you modifications to ensure that you practice safely.

If you are new to yoga then you can attend our pregnancy yoga class on Saturdays at 10am.  You and your baby are our priority so we ask that you don’t attend until 12 weeks pregnant.

Comfortable clothing that you can easily move in.  Leggings, shorts or tracksuit bottoms and t-shirts or vests are all popular choices.

Please let the teacher know before the start of the class if you have an injury or medical condition so they can give you modifications or alternative postures.  We will do our best to accommodate you in our classes.

It is best that you check with your doctor before starting any new activities that may affect your injury/medical condition.

Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India.  It is thousands of years old and predates religion.

Most classes include breathing exercises, holding postures and mind focusing techniques.

The aim of yoga is to bring union to your mind, body and spirit.

There are three car parking spaces outside the studio that are for customers to use for the duration of the class they are attending.
