Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga that emphasizes physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama). It is a practice that aims to bring balance and harmony to the body and mind. A typical class includes standing, seated and lying postures with breathing exercises.

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

This class is a great way to practice self care for both mental and physical wellbeing. You will be guided through a gentle movement practice which combines elements of gentle yoga and qigong postures. This is a moving meditation. The next part of the class is a guided sitting meditation to explore the mind-body-heart connection in relative stillness. Mindfulness has been proven to improve focus and reduce stress levels. The class finishes with a soundbath relaxation.

This gentle class is a combination of movement, mobility, breathwork, mindfulness, as well as deep rest and release. This class is structured to raise your physical and spiritual energy, align the body and relax the mind. It is as much about the mind, as it is the body. You will leave feeling more aligned and grounded.

Adapt and make space for the changes in your pregnant body with gentle stretching and strengthening. The breathing exercises and relaxation techniques will leave you feeling rested, relaxed and refreshed.

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Reconnect to your body after pregnancy. You will be guided through gentle and safe exercises to strengthen pelvic floor and abdominal muscles and stretch out shoulders and lower backs. Your baby can be as involved in the class as you both wish.

Suitable from 6 weeks after birth or 8 weeks after caesarean birth.

Yin Yang Yoga

Yin Yang yoga begins with dynamic, warming and energising postures, (yang) and finishes with slow, cooling and relaxing postures, (yin).
The yang element of the class will build strength, flexibility and stamina whilst improving circulation and focus. The yin part of the class will deeply stretch the muscles and connective tissues whilst having a calming effect on the mind and body.

Dudes and Dads Yoga

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Dudes and Dads is a class for men aimed at bringing more men into the yoga world.  The class includes stretching and strengthening yoga postures to create a healthy and mobile body whilst aiding stress relief and relaxation.

After the class, the men are invited to visit our neighbours, Craft Beer Cabin together where they will receive 10% off their drinks, (non-alcoholic drinks available,) and catch up with one another.
