Alignment Yoga

Alignment Yoga

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Alignment yoga is a strong and steady practice that focuses on positioning the body in a precise way to maximize benefits, create balance in the body and reduce risk of injury.

Verbal cues, demonstrations and hands-on adjustments are given to guide attendees into the postures with a focus on building strength, mobility and flexibility.

Props and modifications are used to adapt the posture to the individual to make it accessible and give them the best possible alignment whilst gaining all the benefits of the posture.

Pregnancy Yoga

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Adapt and make space for the changes in your pregnant body with gentle stretching and strengthening. The breathing exercises and relaxation techniques will leave you feeling rested, relaxed and refreshed.

Suitable from 12 weeks up until full term.

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

This class is a great way to practice self care for both mental and physical wellbeing.

You will be guided through a gentle movement practice which includes qigong postures. This is a moving meditation. The next part of the class is a guided sitting meditation to explore the mind-body-heart connection in relative stillness.

Mindfulness has been proven to improve focus and reduce stress levels. The class finishes with a soundbath relaxation.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a set sequence of postures that are practiced in order, combining movement with breath.

It is a dynamic, flowing, physical practise that builds strength, stamina and flexibility, aligning and detoxifying the body.

Dudes and Dads Yoga

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Dudes and Dads is a class for men aimed at bringing more men into the yoga world.  The class includes stretching and strengthening yoga postures to create a healthy and mobile body whilst aiding stress relief and relaxation.

After the class, the men are invited to visit our neighbours, Craft Beer Cabin together where they will receive 10% off their drinks, (non-alcoholic drinks available,) and catch up with one another.

Yin Yoga is a slow, floor-based practice that focuses on holding postures for longer periods to gently target the deeper connective tissues of the body, supporting joint health and mobility.

With an emphasis on stillness and relaxed muscles, the practice encourages mindful breathing and a calm, meditative quality, making it accessible for all levels and ideal for reducing stress and restoring balance.
